Multi-region deployments
Multi-region deployments is when your application is running in more than one region and user requests are routed to the closest location. This enables you to maintain low request latency around the world.
Multi-region setup options
There are two ways multi-region can be configured:
- Global Accelerator
- Functions as a load balancer and routes requests to nearest geograpical region
- Route53
- Routes requests to regions based on lowest DNS latency
Multi-region on Flightcontrol is only available on the Business plan and currently requires manual setup from the support team. Contact support if interested.
